These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BrainRoads platform ("Platform"), accessible at brainroads.com. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
The Platform is accessible free of charge to any user with internet access. All costs related to accessing the Platform (hardware, internet connection, etc.) are the user's responsibility.
BrainRoads reserves the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue access to the Platform at any time without notice or liability, including for maintenance purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the laws of your country) to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, course materials, and software — is the property of BrainRoads or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
If you create content using AI generation features (courses, quizzes, flashcards, roadmaps), you retain ownership of that content. By using the Platform, you grant BrainRoads a non-exclusive licence to store and display your content for the purpose of providing the service.
You agree not to create or upload content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or in violation of third-party rights.
BrainRoads offers a free Basic tier and paid plans (Plus and Max). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise BrainRoads to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment — contact us to request a refund.
BrainRoads reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. BrainRoads does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content — including AI-generated content — will always be accurate or complete. You use the Platform at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BrainRoads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of learning progress.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
BrainRoads may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the Platform at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
